Original copy of Batman #100, June 1956. DC Comics commemorated the 100th issue of the character's solo comic title by illustrating its cover with a collage of notable past Batman comic covers. Batman #1, #23, #25, #47, #48, and #61 are the covers in the collage. Batman #100 marked the first time that the character's history was formally and publicly celebrated.
